Ask the Herbalists
Q. What are people using naturally for sensitivity to Poison Ivy or Oak?
A. Vitamin C, Red Clover Blend or BP-X have each been used as preventatives and are also helpful after breaking out. Using the homeopathic Rhus Tox is very helpful for many. Dave likes to use the essential oil blend called Guardian mixed with Herbal Trim Skin Treatment topically to ease itching and blisters.
Q. What do people use naturally for back pain?
A. Here are some testimonies:
Dalean H wrote: My spine got broken from L 1 downward and then got repaired---sort of. My best relief has come with Natures Fresh sprayed on whole spine and I take varying amounts of Kava Kava, Triple Relief and Skeletal Strength, Proactazyme and other enzymes at times. Vertebrae don't always stay in place but a quick trip to soft pillows after a spray of the NF fixes me up enough to get on with it. Can't stand to stay still ! ! !
I found using the Natures Fresh quite often at first, really helped (kept a spray bottle of it in every room, so always had it near) and including what Dalean suggested, sometimes more Magnesium with herbs helps a lot too. -- Annette
I find adding Helichrysum , ylang ylang and roman chamomile essential oils to natures fresh really helps. -- Pat
